If you’re like me, then you may find that you don’t exactly have enough time or energy to fit all the Fall goodness into every day that you’d like to.I thought I might share a few of my favorite really really simply projects from the last couple of years today so that even us overly busy people can get in on a little of the Fall fun!.

Painted Jack O’ Lantern Rocks..

Rocks, paint, permanent markers and you’re good to go!.We built some extra trays, which might be pushing it a bit time-wise for the beginner DIYer, and I would suggest leaving the wood staining part for a separate weekend if it’s not something that you do often, because you want to do a really good job of finishing your work of art.

Overall though, definitely a great project that makes a big impact visually and functionally, with a pretty simple process.. Here’s what we did!.We started out by putting together a basic frame with four roof-support legs and some two-by-fours.

We made the whole thing 36 inches tall (standard counter height), and about 5 feet wide. The counter top is about 22 inches deep, which is a bit less than a standard kitchen counter.
